Prasad Traders

We are out here in Porumamilla, right on Sh 56. Our place, Prasad Traders, is at Plot No.305/14. It’s easy to find because we are quite close to the Jain Temple and the local Post Office. Being near the temple means we get a lot of people passing by on festival days. The road can get quite dusty, especially when the trucks go by on the state highway. We’ve been running this trading business for a few years. It’s mostly just family members helping out. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a warehouse and a small front desk where we handle the bills. We start the day early before the sun gets too hot. By noon, we usually take a break because it’s just too quiet and warm. The Post Office being so close is handy for when we need to send out documents. We don’t use much technology, just a basic phone and a ledger book for the most part. It’s a slow pace of life compared to the big cities, but it works for us. We know the farmers and the other traders in the area. We talk about the crops and the rain more than we talk about business strategies. It’s just how things are done here in this part of the country. We’re happy with our little spot near the temple.
