We've been at 64-8-42 in Almaspet for a while now. It's a busy spot but we like it here. People bring their tractors when things aren't running right or they just need a part replaced. Most of the time it's just regular maintenance, but sometimes the jobs get a bit more complicated. We spend our days mostly covered in grease and handling heavy tools. It's noisy and can get hot in the shop during the summer months. My hands are usually stained with oil by noon. We have a lot of tools sitting around and spare parts stacked in the corners. Farmers from around here know where to find us. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Usually, people just stand around and chat while we take a look at the engine. It's a straightforward way to spend the day. Sometimes we have to order a part and it takes a few days to get here. We try to get things back in the fields as soon as we can because we know the work can't wait. It's just me and a couple of others here. We keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze we can get. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, but it holds up the weight. If you're coming down Almaspet, you'll see the signs and probably some machinery parked out front. It isn't much to look at, but we get the job done.
