Geetha Ice -Cream Enterprises

Running a business in Kadapa means dealing with a lot of heat most of the year. Our shop, Geetha Ice -Cream Enterprises, is located at Dr.No.2-90/12, which is right near the Hanuman Temple. It’s a good spot because people come by the temple and then they want something to cool down with. We don’t have any big corporate office or anything like that, just this space where we keep the ice cream. Most days it’s just us making sure the machines are working and the deliveries arrive on time. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a few years. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we first opened up here. My family helps out sometimes when it gets really busy during the festival times. We don’t spend much money on big signs or loud music. People just know where we are because we’ve been here at this address for a long time. It’s a lot of work keeping things cold when it’s forty degrees outside, but that’s just the job. We wake up early to check the temperatures and stay late until the last person leaves. There isn’t much else to it besides showing up every day and making sure the freezer stays plugged in. It takes a lot of electricity and we have to watch the bill. We just keep doing what we do.
