Rajeswari International

We are located in A. Melmampattu, which is a small village area in Kadampuliyur within the Panruti T. K. region. Rajeswari International is the name on the board, but we are a very local operation. Panruti is a place known for its trade, and we have our own small part in that. Our building is surrounded by trees and fields, so it feels very different from a city office. There is a lot of space, which is good because we need it for storage. The roads out here aren't always in the best shape, especially after a heavy rain, so we have to plan our transport carefully. Most of the people who work here are from the nearby villages and we have known each other for years. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. Usually, you will find us in casual clothes, sitting on the porch while we wait for a customer to arrive. The work involves a lot of manual sorting and checking the quality of the goods. We keep our records in big paper books because that is how we have always done it. It is a quiet life for the most part, punctuated by the arrival of a truck or the sound of the local temple bell. We don't feel the need to be flashy. We just do our work, look after our families, and keep the business running as best as we can.
