Wood Mood Furniture

Wood Mood Furniture is located right across from the Commerce College at Padmani Tower. It’s a spot where a lot of students and locals walk by every day. Inside, it’s mostly filled with different pieces we’ve put together or are working on. We have everything from chairs to tables, and the layout changes whenever we sell something and move a new piece in. It’s not a giant warehouse, so things can feel a little cramped, but it gives it a more personal feel. We spend our time checking the finish on the wood and making sure the drawers slide like they should. Working opposite the college means we hear the bell ring and see the crowds come out for lunch. It’s a nice rhythm to the day. We aren't part of some big chain; it’s just us here trying to make furniture that actually lasts. Some days are quiet, and we just spend them polishing or rearranging the floor. Other days, three people come in at once asking about custom sizes. We just take it as it comes. The lighting in the tower isn't always the best, so we often take pieces near the window to see the true color of the grain. It’s just a regular furniture shop where we do our best with what we have. No big fuss about it.
