Somnath Travels

Somnath Travels is based in Gandhidham, right at Chawla Chowk. We are actually located just besides the Chawla Hotel, so most people use that as a landmark when they are trying to find us. It is a very busy intersection and there is always something going on outside. We have been here for a while and have seen the town grow quite a bit. Our office is simple, just enough room for us to sit and for a couple of people to wait for their tickets. We handle a lot of different routes, mostly for people going to work or visiting family. The phones ring quite a bit, and we do our best to answer them quickly, but sometimes we are busy talking to someone at the counter. We don't use any fancy scripts when we talk to people. We just tell them the price and the time and hope the buses are running on schedule. Sometimes there are delays, and we have to deal with frustrated passengers, which is the hardest part of the job. But we just stay calm and try to find another way. We have a tea stall nearby where we go when we have a few minutes of break. Most of the other shopkeepers around the chowk are friends of ours. It is a good little community here. We just keep our heads down and do our work day by day. Nothing fancy, just travel and regular life.
