Sanghi Cement

We live and work out here at the Sanghi Cement Staff Colony in P.O.Sanghipuram. My address is Qtr. No. C-48. It is quite a way out in Taluka Abdasa, in the District Kutch, Gujarat-370511. Living in a staff colony is a different kind of life. Everyone knows everyone else. We work at the plant and then we come home to the same neighborhood. It is quiet out here, which I like. The air is dry and the sun is usually very hot. Sanghi Cement is the reason we are all here. Fancy malls or big city lights don't exist nearby. We just have our work and our community. Our office is simple and gets the job done. Marketing or trying to look polished isn't how we spend our time. Most of us are engineers and workers who know our trade. The roads around Kutch can be long and empty, but it’s beautiful in its own way. Day-to-day operations and making sure everything runs smooth at the plant is our focus. Sometimes we sit out in the evenings when it cools down a bit. It’s a decent life. We’ve been here for a long time and we’ve made this place our own. It’s not for everyone, but it works for us. Not many complaints about the quiet life come from us.
