Our setup is located out at Sanghipuram in the Kutch district of Gujarat. Specifically, we are in building E-9. If you’ve never been to Kutch, it’s a unique place. It’s very open, and the landscape is quite stark, which has its own kind of beauty. Working out here means you are right in the middle of where everything happens for the company. The air always has a bit of that industrial smell and there’s a constant sound of trucks moving in the distance. It’s a big site, so we usually have to drive or bike between different buildings. Our office is functional. We have the usual desks, some maps of the distribution routes on the walls, and a small area where we keep our tea supplies. The wind out here can be really strong, and it often blows a bit of sand under the door, so we are always sweeping. We are a small group of people working in this section. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes for lunch. It’s a bit of a tight-knit community because there isn't much else around for a few miles. We focus on the logistics and the administrative side of things to keep the supply moving out of the district. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important work for the region. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the orders are filled and the trucks are on their way to wherever they need to go across the state.
