Reliance

We are out here in the Kutch district of Gujarat, specifically in the 370410 area. If you have ever been to Kutch, you know it is a vast place with a lot of open land and a very specific kind of weather. It can get incredibly hot and dry during the day, and then the wind picks up in the evening. Our Reliance base is a simple building that does not stand out much from anything else around it. We do not have a big fancy address with a street name and a house number, just the district and the pin code. It is a bit isolated compared to being in a city like Ahmedabad or Baroda, but that is the nature of being in Kutch. We have a few rooms where we keep our records and some desks where we sit to do the computer work. It is a very functional environment. We do not spend time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. As long as the roof does not leak and we have a decent internet connection, we are happy. The people who work here are mostly locals who understand the pace of life in this part of the state. We just focus on getting our tasks done and dealing with whatever challenges the day brings, whether it is the heat or just a long list of things to do. It is a straightforward, no-nonsense way of working that fits this landscape perfectly.
