Our shop is Number 6 in the Katira Complex, which is located in the Sanskar Nagar area of Bhuj. It is a good spot for us because Sanskar Nagar is a well-known part of the city but it isn't as congested as the old market areas. We have been in this complex for some time now. The office is pretty basic, with a couple of desks and some chairs for anyone who comes in to talk about their trip. We mostly deal with people who are looking to organize tours or just need a simple ticket for a journey. Every morning we open up, sweep the floor, and start checking the messages that came in overnight. There are other shops in Katira Complex, like a grocery and a mobile repair place, so there is always a bit of life around the building. We know our neighbors well and often share a cup of tea in the afternoon. We don't have any big marketing plans or a polished sales pitch. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. We just try to be honest about the timings and the costs so there are no surprises for anyone. It is a small business, and we are fine with that. We just want to make sure the work is done right every single day. Usually, the phone starts ringing as soon as we get the shutters up.
