Rajvin Conpro operates out of a tenement in Adipur. We are specifically at Plot No. 68 in Ward 4B. It is more of a residential-style setup, which actually suits our way of working. Adipur is a quiet enough town compared to the big cities in Gujarat, though the dust in Kachchh is something you just have to live with every day. We started the business here because we wanted a place that felt more like a home than a stiff, cold corporate office. There are only a few of us here, handling the daily grind of the construction industry. We have some old wooden furniture and a few computers that have definitely seen better days. The tenement has a small front area where we usually park our bikes and talk to the neighbors. Most of our real work happens away from this office, out where the actual building is going on. We come back here in the evenings to settle the bills and speak with our suppliers. Sometimes the internet goes out when it gets too windy, which happens quite often in this part of the country. We aren't doing anything flashy or impressive. It is just honest, hard work, day after day. We drink a lot of chai to stay awake during the hot afternoons. Being in a tenement makes us feel like part of the local community. People stop by just to say hello sometimes, and we like it that way.
