You can find us at 50-B in Rambaug Society, which is right across from the DCM Toyota on Makarpura Road in Baroda. Power Tek is what we go by, and we’re an authorized sales and service provider for APC stuff. Being in Gujarat, especially in a busy spot like Baroda, keeps us on our toes. We spend our days dealing with UPS systems, batteries, and all that kind of gear. It’s a lot of lifting and a lot of checking connections. We aren't a big corporate showroom. It’s more of a service center feel here. People bring in their units when they stop working, or they call us when their power backup fails. We’ve seen just about every kind of fault you can imagine. We don't have a script for how we talk to customers. We just tell them what’s broken and how much it’ll cost to fix. Sometimes the parts take a few days to get in, but we try to be quick about it. The shop gets a bit dusty with all the fans and equipment, but that’s just the nature of the work. We aren't trying to sell you things you don't need. We just want to make sure your power stays on when the grid goes down. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so we know the machines inside out.
