We are located in Mannat, over in the Shiv Paras Society. It’s near Mahesh Nagar here in Mundra. This part of Kachchh has grown a lot lately, and it feels like there is always new construction happening down the road. Our office is a simple place where we handle the day-to-day project tasks. It’s not right in the middle of the port noise, which is a bit of a relief, but we are still close enough to see what’s going on every day. We spend most of our mornings checking through the mail and updating the progress logs. The society is fairly quiet, so it’s a good place to actually get some thinking done without too many distractions. We have a small group here. We know each other’s habits and how we like our tea in the afternoon. The work involves a lot of tracking and making sure vendors get what they need at the right time. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the dust from the roads gets into the office windows, but that’s just life in this part of Gujarat. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated systems. We just use what works to keep the projects on track. Usually, we are here until late evening making sure everything is tucked away for the next morning. It’s honest work, and we try to be as helpful as we can to the people we deal with.
