Meera Polypack Industries

We are located at Plot No. 5/A in the Gidc Estate, operating as Meera Polypack Industries. The place is mostly filled with the sound of the extruders and the smell of heated plastic. It’s a bit warm inside the shed, especially during the summer months, but we have some big exhaust fans that help a little. We spend a lot of time checking the rolls for any thin spots or tears. It’s repetitive work, but someone has to do it to make sure the bags are okay for the customers. The floor is usually covered in small plastic scraps that we sweep up at the end of every shift. There’s a small corner where we keep our tools and the spare parts for the rollers. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest to the office just picks it up. It might be a bit loud in the background when you call. Most of our day is spent watching the gauges and making sure the heat stays at the right level. The delivery trucks pull up right to the front door because we don't have much of a yard to speak of. We've been here for a while now, and the neighbors at the other units are all friendly enough. We share the same tea stall down the road. It’s just a normal factory setup, nothing special to look at but we stay busy with the local orders.
