Our place is located way out in the Kutch district, specifically in Sewagram near Vayor. It’s part of the Abdasa taluka, which is a fairly dry and open area of Gujarat. Being out here at Gujarat Anjan Cement Ltd means you have to be okay with a bit of isolation. The nearest big town is a good drive away. We’ve got our operations set up to handle the cement business, and it’s a lot of work. The landscape is quite rugged, and the wind can really pick up, blowing dust everywhere. We have a solid group of people who stay out here to keep the facility running. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy shops or much entertainment. We mostly just focus on our tasks and make sure the production stays steady. The office is a simple building that serves its purpose for the paperwork and meetings we have to have. Most of our days are spent checking on the plant or talking to the truck drivers who come through. It’s a straightforward life in Kutch. We don't have a lot of visitors, but we know all the locals from the nearby villages who work with us. It’s a hard-working atmosphere where everyone knows their role. We take pride in just getting the job done without making a fuss about the conditions. It’s just how things are out here in the desert. We stay busy.
