MHF NIDHI LIMITED

The stairs up to the first floor of Nemnath Complex are a bit steep if you are carrying heavy stuff. That is where we are, in Office F-13. MHF Nidhi Limited has been here in Mundra for a while. Kachchh can get really dusty when the wind picks up off the coast, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the windows and desks. It is a quiet office for the most part, though you can hear the street noise from the shops below. We have some plastic chairs for guests and a big wooden table where we do most of the work. The paperwork for the Nidhi business is quite a lot, so we have folders stacked everywhere. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad in the mornings. We see the same faces every day walking past the complex on their way to work. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once to talk. We don't have any big signs or flashing lights, just the name on the door. It is a simple setup. We handle whatever comes through the door, mostly people asking about their small savings or how the rules work for them. The light in the office is okay in the morning but we need the overhead bulbs by four. It feels like a steady place to be. Mundra is changing fast, but this little corner of the complex stays pretty much the same.
