About Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd – Metals & Minerals in Kachchh
Out here in Adipur, specifically at Plot No. 26 in Ward 4/A of the Iffco-Socity, things move at a slightly different pace. The sun is quite strong in Kutch, so we try to get most of the heavy loading done early in the morning before it gets too hot. Our office is right there in the society, so it feels very much like being part of the local community. We have stacks of Nerolac buckets everywhere, and we try to keep them organized by type and color, though sometimes the stacks get a bit tall. The area around us is generally quiet, which is nice when we are trying to go through the ledgers and check the inventory numbers. We get people coming in from across the district looking for specific things for their houses. The floor is concrete and has some spills here and there, which is just part of the job when you deal with paint all day. We have a small desk where we do all the paperwork, and it is usually covered in receipts and pens. There is no air conditioning, just the breeze coming through the open door and a sturdy old fan. It is a straightforward operation where we just focus on keeping the stock moving and making sure the local shops and painters have what they need to keep working in this dry heat.
