Vishal Enterprise / Parshwanath Sortex

If you go down to Plot No. 406 in the Gidc Estate, that’s where you’ll find us. We go by Vishal Enterprise or Parshwanath Sortex, depending on who is asking or what part of the work we are doing that day. The machines in the back make a fair bit of noise, but you get used to it after the first hour. It’s an industrial area, so quiet isn't really something we expect. We spend most of our time looking at grains or whatever materials are coming through the sorters. It’s a lot of standing and watching to make sure the quality is where it should be. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing a belt or cleaning out a sensor. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. The office part is just a couple of desks and some old chairs where we handle the billing and talk to the drivers. We’ve been in this particular plot for a good stretch of time now. The guys working here have been around forever, so we all know how to handle the equipment without thinking too much about it. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and try to stay cool. We don’t have some big fancy story to tell. We just show up at the estate, do the sorting work, and head home when the sun goes down.
