Darshan Polymers / Nilkanth Polymers

Dealing with plastic products at Plot No. 218 in the GIDC Estate means we deal with a lot of heat and heavy machinery. We go by Darshan Polymers or Nilkanth Polymers, depending on which side of the business we are talking about, but it’s all the same team here. The workshop is always full of the sound of machines humming. It gets quite warm in the summer, but we have big fans to keep the air moving. We aren't some big multinational company; we are just a local setup trying to fill orders on time. Our yard is usually stacked with raw materials and finished goods waiting for the transport trucks. Sometimes the trucks are late, and we end up sitting around drinking tea and waiting. We’ve been at this plot for a while now and know the ins and outs of the polymer trade. It’s not a clean job, you’ll usually find us with some grease on our hands or dust on our clothes. We don't have a marketing department or fancy brochures. If someone needs something made, they usually just come in and show us a sample or a drawing. We figure out how to make it work with what we have. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. The office is just a small partitioned area in the corner of the main floor. It's noisy, but it feels like home to us.
