Cargo Packers

You can find us at Plot 61, right near the Oslo Cinema. It’s a well-known spot in the neighborhood, so most people don’t have trouble finding the place. We spend our days surrounded by rolls of tape, bubble wrap, and stacks of cardboard boxes. Packing up someone’s whole life or their office equipment is a lot of work and it takes a lot of patience to make sure things don't break. We have a small crew that has been doing this for a while, so we’ve gotten pretty fast at taping up boxes. The warehouse is always a bit of a mess with scraps of packing material everywhere, but we try to keep it somewhat tidy. Some days we are out on the road most of the time, and other days we are here at the plot organizing the supplies. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting heavy crates and moving furniture around. We hear a lot of noise from the cinema crowds on the weekends, but during the day it’s mostly just us and the sound of packing tape being pulled off the rolls. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, pack the things that need packing, and try to make sure nothing gets smashed along the way. It’s a regular job and we’ve been at it for years now.
