Gayatri Provision Store

Our store is a small spot at Stall Number 3 on Line Number 80. It’s not a supermarket or a big chain; it’s just a local provision store where we keep the essentials. We spend our days stacking bags of rice, lentils, and boxes of tea. The space is tight, so we have to use every inch of the shelves right up to the ceiling. We know most of the people who come in by their first names because they live just a few streets away. It’s a simple life for us. We open early in the morning to catch the people heading to work and stay open until late when they come back home. There is always a bit of dust from the street, and we are constantly rearranging things to make room for new stock. We don’t have any fancy checkout system here, just a manual scale and an old notebook to keep track of things. It gets a bit noisy on Line 80 with all the people walking by and other vendors calling out. We like the chatter, though. It keeps the day moving along. If you’re looking for something specific and we don’t have it, we usually try to get it in for you by the next week. We aren't trying to be anything other than a reliable place for the neighborhood to get their daily supplies. It’s just us, the stall, and the same old daily routine.
