Euro Ceramics Ltd. Bhachau, Kutch. Gujarat

Our place, Euro Ceramics Ltd., is out here in Bhachau, which is part of the Kutch district in Gujarat. It's a bit of a drive to get here, but it's where we do all our work. Being in the 370140 area means we are surrounded by a lot of other industrial spots, so it can get pretty loud and busy during the day. We have quite a few people working here on the floor, making sure the ceramics are handled right. It's a big operation, but we try to keep it simple. There’s always a lot of dust and the sound of machinery, which is pretty standard for a place like this in Gujarat. We don't really have a fancy reception area. Most of the time, we’re just in the back or out near the loading dock checking the trucks. The weather gets really hot in the summer, so we all take breaks when we can. We've been at this address for a while now and most of the locals know where we are located. It’s hard work, especially moving the finished goods, but it keeps us busy. We don’t spend much time on the computer; we’re mostly on our feet. Sometimes the logistics can be a headache with the transport, but we manage to get things moved eventually. The days are long, but we are used to the routine of the factory.
