Bhimji Velji Sorathia Construction

Our yard is located at Plot 112-113 in Arbuda Nagar, right off Tagore Road in Adipur. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. Construction is what we know best. Most of the time, our trucks and mixers are out at various sites around Kachchh, but this plot is where we keep all the heavy stuff. It’s a dusty yard, especially when the wind picks up, but that’s just part of the job. We have a small office where we keep the maps and the time sheets, but we aren't in there much. Most of our day is spent outdoors getting our hands dirty with bricks and mortar. It’s a family business, so we all know each other pretty well and don’t need to say much to get the work done. We started out with just a few shovels and a lot of energy. Now we have more equipment, but the work hasn't changed that much. We aren't into big advertising or anything. People in Adipur usually just know who we are because they’ve seen us working on projects nearby. If someone needs a wall built or a site cleared, they just come by the gate. We take on whatever work we can handle. It’s a tough living sometimes, but we’re used to it. We just keep moving from one project to the next and try to stay on schedule as best we can.
