We have been running this small estate agency from Shop Number 21 in the Municipality Complex for a while now. It is right near the Mamlatdar Office here in Anjar, so there is always a lot of movement around the area. People come in to ask about plots or houses in Kachchh. Some are looking to buy something small, others want to sell land they have had for years. We just sit here at the desk and talk through the options with whoever walks through the door. The office is not very big, but it serves the purpose. Anjar is a busy place and being near the government offices means we see a lot of the local paperwork side of things. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on different sites. We know the streets around here pretty well since we spend most of our time visiting properties or meeting neighbors. Sometimes it gets quite dusty outside, but that is just how it is in this part of Kachchh. We do not have any fancy brochures or big signs. It is just us here, keeping track of what is available and trying to help people find a place that fits what they need. If someone needs to find a shop or a bit of land near the main market area, they usually find their way to our little spot in the complex. It is a simple way of working without any fuss or complications.
