Ambica Electronics

You can find Ambica Electronics right on the Bhuj to Nakhatrana highway, near the Devpar Yax bus stand. It's a handy spot because people can just pull over when they’re traveling between towns. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. There are wires and components all over the place, and usually a few things half-taken apart on the workbench. It’s a bit of a struggle to keep everything tidy with people coming in and out all day. Being near the bus stand means we see a lot of different faces, which keeps things interesting. The highway is always noisy, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of trucks passing by. We started this place because there was a need for it in this part of the road. We aren't a big chain store with bright lights and matching uniforms. It’s just us, working with our hands and trying to fix whatever comes through the door. Some days the heat is pretty bad, but we keep the fan going and stay busy. People know they can come to us when something stops working. We don't use a lot of technical jargon; we just explain what's wrong and try to get it sorted. It's a simple life out here on the highway, and we're happy to be a part of the local community in Devpar Yax. We just do our best every single day. We are just regular people.
