Our place is in Manvi, Mandvi, under the 370465 area code. It’s a small shop we’ve run for a good while. To be honest, the office isn’t much to look at. There are a couple of chairs and a desk that’s seen better days, but it gets the job done. Most of the day, we’re just talking to folks who need a way to get to the next town or maybe further. You won't find fancy computer systems here because we still use a big paper diary to write down who is going where. Sometimes the phone rings and it’s a neighbor asking for a quick favor, or maybe a stranger just passing through. The heat in Mandvi gets quite intense during the summer months, so we keep the fan running all day. It makes a rattling noise, but you eventually stop noticing it. We know the drivers personally. They are good men who know these roads better than anyone. Traffic is often a mess near the main market, but we try to stay on time. If a car is running late, we just call the person and let them know the situation. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it has worked for us so far. We don’t do big ads. People usually find us by walking past or hearing about us from a friend who used us before. That's really all there is to our business here in town.
