Aabhat - Association For Appropriate Built Habitat And Technologies is where we put in our time. We are located at Plot No. 8 to 15 in Mahadev Nagar-1, right on Mandvi Road. It’s a bunch of plots we’ve put together over time to have enough room for everything. The name is a bit of a mouthful, we know that. Most people around here just call us Aabhat. We spend our days working on building stuff and trying out different technologies for houses. It’s not the kind of place with shiny floors or fancy furniture. It’s a working office. We’ve got maps and drawings all over the walls. Mandvi Road can get pretty loud with all the trucks passing by, but we don't mind much. It makes it easy for people to find us when they need to talk about habitats. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The team is just a few folks who know how to build things properly. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with long meetings and polished reports. We just sit around the table and figure out how to make buildings work better for the folks living in them. Some days the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we keep at it. It’s honest work. If you are heading down towards the main road, you’ll see our gate. We like it here in Mahadev Nagar-1. It feels like a real neighborhood.
