You can find Sridevi Womens Engineering College right on the Main Road in Gandipet. It’s a busy spot in Hyderabad, especially with all the traffic heading toward the lake. The college is just for women, and we have been here for years. The campus has several blocks for different engineering branches. It’s a lot of walking between the labs and the lecture halls. We have a lot of buses that bring the girls in from all over the city. The mornings are very noisy with the buses arriving and everyone rushing to get to their first class. We try to keep the labs updated, but with engineering, there is always something new to buy. The canteen is usually the loudest place during the break. We don't do much fancy advertising. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or relatives. The office staff is always busy with attendance records and hall tickets. It’s a practical place. We have some trees around the edges of the property which give a bit of shade. Sometimes the Wi-Fi acts up, or the water cooler needs a filter change, but we fix things as we go. It’s a straightforward environment for studying. We focus on the classes and making sure the students are ready for their final exams. It’s just how we operate every day. We also have a small area where the girls can sit and talk between the sessions. It’s nothing special, but it gets used.
