Baba School Dress Point

Our little shop is over in Chitrapuri Hills, right near Kairos Global School in Manikonda. It’s a hilly area so the walk up can be a bit much if you aren't used to it. We mainly sell the school dresses and accessories people need. It’s a small space, mostly filled with shelves of shirts, trousers, and skirts. We spend a lot of time checking sizes for kids who seem to grow every two months. It’s usually quiet during the school day, then suddenly everyone comes in at once when classes are over. We have piles of socks and belts behind the counter. The room smells a bit like new fabric and cardboard. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us helping out. Sometimes we run out of a certain size and have to wait for the next delivery. It’s a practical place for the neighborhood. People from Khajaguda know where to find us. We don't do much advertising; people just walk in. The sunlight hits the front window pretty hard in the afternoon. We usually have a radio playing in the background. It’s just a normal shop doing its thing near the school. We try to keep things tidy but with so many clothes, it's hard. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the folding, but we manage to get everyone sorted by the end of the day. It is just a regular school shop serving the local families around Manikonda.
