Anganwadi School

Anganwadi School is situated on the 2nd Floor of Mps Chambers, Plot No 42-122, on Pipe Line Road. This is in the Jagadgiri Gutta area of Hyderabad, which is a very crowded and lively place. Being on the second floor means we are a bit removed from the noise of the traffic on Pipe Line Road, but you can still hear the horns honking all day. The space is used for basic early education and helping the local children from the neighborhood. We spend our time organizing simple activities and making sure the kids have their meals. The building is a standard commercial block, and we share it with a few other offices. Climbing the stairs every day keeps us active. Jagadgiri Gutta has a lot of narrow lanes, and many of the families we work with live just a short walk away. We have some basic mats for the children to sit on and some cupboards where we store the supplies and records. It is a very hands-on environment. There is no air conditioning, just the ceiling fans and whatever breeze comes through the windows. We deal with a lot of paperwork for the government programs, which takes up a good chunk of our afternoons. It is a simple operation focused on the immediate needs of the community right here in this corner of the city.
