M/S. Ambuja Cements Limited

We operate out of Shashtrinagar in the Narnapura area of Ahmedabad. It is a familiar neighborhood for most of us who grew up around here. Dealing with cement means we are always looking at construction and building materials throughout the city. The office at L-4/3/37 is not anything spectacular, but it serves us well for our daily tasks. We get a lot of people coming in asking about supply schedules or just checking on prices for their home builds. Gujarat is always building something new, so there is no shortage of work to do. We keep things pretty informal here. Most of the staff has been with the company for years, so we know each other well. The summers in Ahmedabad are brutal, so we make sure the fans are always running at full speed. We do not spend money on fancy decorations because it does not help move the bags of cement. We are just a local link for Ambuja Cements in this part of town. Sometimes the logistics get complicated with the trucks, but we figure it out. It is a lot of phone calls and ledger keeping. You can usually find us here from morning until early evening. We do not use big words to describe what we do. We just supply the stuff that keeps buildings standing. It is heavy work and we just do our best to keep the supply moving to the construction sites.
