Gscl, Sidheegram

Gscl is located out in Sidheegram, which is part of the Veraval area in the Junagadh district. It is a bit of a trek to get out here, but it’s where we do everything. The landscape is quite different from the big cities. We have a lot of space, which is good because the work we do needs it. You can see the dust from the operations from quite a distance. It’s a dusty, hardworking environment. We have locals from Veraval and the surrounding villages working with us. The days start early before the sun gets too high. There is a lot of heavy equipment moving around most of the time. We don't have a fancy corporate office with glass walls; it’s more about functional buildings and warehouses. People here know Gscl as a major part of the local scene in Sidheegram. We deal with the logistics of moving materials out of the Junagadh district, which involves a lot of trucks and planning. The office is mostly for keeping the logs and making sure everyone is paid on time. It’s a practical place. We don't waste much time on talk. We just focus on the daily output and making sure the machines don't break down in the middle of a shift. It’s a quiet life out here except for the noise of the plant. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay productive.
