Ambuja Cements Ltd.(Holcim Group)

We are located over in Maliya Hatina, right near the police line in Kishan Para. If you know the Junagadh area, you know it can get pretty busy with all the movement. Our office is a simple place where we handle the cement business for the Holcim group side of things. It’s mostly just us sitting around the desks, checking schedules and talking to the drivers who come through. The police line is a good landmark because everyone knows it, so we don't usually have to give long directions. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space for work. We have been here for a good bit of time, and the routine stays pretty much the same. In the mornings, we get the tea started and look over what needs to be shipped out. There’s always a bit of dust because of the nature of the work, but that’s just how it is in this business. We don't have any big corporate banners or flashy stuff outside. It’s a local operation at its heart. The neighbors are mostly quiet, though you hear the sirens from the police station every now and then. We just try to stay on top of the paperwork and make sure everything runs as it should. It’s a decent place to work, and we like being part of the local scene here in Gujarat. There is nothing complicated about our day.
