Vandanam Flower Farm

Down at No. 8 Vadaviyla in Taluka Girgadhada, you will find us working at Vandanam Flower Farm. Things move at a different pace out here compared to the city. We spend most of our time outside in the dirt, dealing with the plants and whatever the weather decides to do that day. It is not a desk job by any means. Our address is easy to find if you are local, but it is tucked away from the main roads. There is usually a lot of dirt under our fingernails, and our boots are never clean. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy things for us. We just grow what we can. The mornings are definitely the best part of the day when the air is still cool and the sun is just coming up. By noon, it gets very warm, and we usually take a break in the shade. We have lived and worked in Girgadhada for a long time. Everyone around here knows the land and what it takes to keep things growing. It takes a lot of water and a lot of patience, honestly. We do not really think of ourselves as a big company. We are just people looking after a farm and making sure the flowers are doing okay. It is a lot of hard manual labor, but that is just how it goes when you work with the earth and wait for the seasons to change.
