On Station Road in Vijay Nagar. The railway station is close, so you hear the trains all day long. We process cashews here. It’s a lot of work. Sorting them by size and making sure they are clean. We have a lot of local people working with us. The smell of the nuts being dried is quite strong. The building isn't brand new. It’s seen some years. The paint is peeling a little in the corners. We care more about what’s happening on the tables. We have big bags coming in from the farms. Then they go through the whole process before they are packed. It’s a busy place. We don’t have a big fancy office. Just a small room with a window looking out onto the road. Station Road is always crowded with people and rickshaws. Sometimes it takes forever for our delivery vans to get out of the gate. We just have to be patient. We’ve been doing this for a while. Everyone in Vijay Nagar knows where the cashew place is. We don't spend money on big ads. People usually just like the nuts and tell their friends. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The floors are swept every evening, but by morning, there’s dust again. It’s just the nature of the industry. We like being part of the local scene here. The seasons change how much work we have. When the new crop comes, we are all very busy.
