Tanvir Travels

Tanvir Travels is located out on Rajkot Road, not too far from the Majevdi Bus Stop in Junagadh. It is a dusty part of town because of all the big vehicles moving through, but that is exactly where a travel business needs to be situated. We spend our days watching the buses pull in and out of the stop. The office is small and simple. We have a few desks and a place for people to wait if they get here earlier than expected. It isn't the kind of place you'd see in a magazine. It’s just a workspace for us. We get a lot of sunlight in the mornings which makes the place bright, maybe a bit too bright during the summer months. We’ve had to fix the door a couple of times because of the wind rattling it. Most of our day is spent answering the same questions over and over, but we don't mind it. It’s what we do. People come in looking tired from their journeys, and we try to get them sorted out quickly. There is no corporate manual here, just us doing things the way we've always done them. We know the tea seller across the road pretty well, and he usually brings us a few cups throughout the day. It’s a bit of a rough-and-ready spot, but it’s ours and we are comfortable here on Rajkot Road with the noise and the dust.
