Sindhav Travels Agency is located at Shop No 1 in the Shiv Complex over in Keshod. We are right across from the telephone exchange, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. Being in this part of Junagadh means there is always a lot of movement outside our front door. The office is small and simple, with just enough room for a desk and a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait. We handle a lot of the local travel for people who need to get around the district or further out. Most of the work involves checking the computer for seat availability and writing out the slips for the passengers. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we have a fan that runs all day long. People pop in at all hours to ask about ticket prices or the fastest way to get to the city. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routes well. The street noise is constant, but you get used to it after working here for a few months. We see the same regulars every week, people who travel for work or to visit family. It is an honest living and we just try to keep things organized so nobody misses their ride. Keshod is a busy hub and being at the Shiv Complex puts us right in the thick of it. It’s a practical business for practical people.
