Shilu Travels

Shilu Travels is based right here in Junagadh, in the 362001 zip code area. It’s a beautiful city with the mountain in the background, and I’ve always enjoyed living and working here. I started this travel business because I wanted to help people see the sights without it being too complicated. We don't have a fancy corporate office with a receptionist. Usually, it’s just me or one of the family members answering the calls. We know the roads around here very well, especially the ones that lead out to the coast or up toward the temples. Running a business in Junagadh has its challenges, like the narrow streets and the cows that sometimes block the way, but we take it all in stride. It’s not a high-speed life, and we don’t pretend it is. We keep our records in a ledger and our cars as clean as we can. Some days are busier than others, especially during the pilgrimage season when everyone wants to be on the move. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure people get where they’re going. It’s a simple way to make a living, and I’ve been doing it long enough that most of the locals know where to find me.
