We are located right opposite Gate No 2 in the Motibaug area of Junagadh. It is a nice spot because of all the trees nearby, which makes it feel a little cooler than the rest of the city. We have a simple room where we do all our science lessons. There are posters of the periodic table and some old anatomy diagrams on the walls that have started to yellow at the edges over the years. We spend a lot of time sitting at the main desk going over schedules and plans. The door stays open most of the day to let a breeze in, though that also means some dust comes in from the road. You can hear the sounds of the park across the street sometimes when the wind blows right. We do not have a lot of space, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. There is a stack of old magazines in the corner that no one ever really reads. We mostly just focus on the books and the experiments we talk about. It is not a high-tech place by any means. We use basic tools and lots of notebooks. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open all the windows wide just to see what we are writing. It is a bit of a scramble, but we make it work. Most days are quiet and follow the same pattern of opening up and closing down.
