S. A. L. Steel Ltd., Gandhidham, Bharapar

This is the S. A. L. Steel setup located out in Village Vadodara Zala. It is in the Sutrapada area within the Junagadh district. We are pretty far out compared to the big city offices, but this is where the real work happens every day. Being in a village like this means we know pretty much everyone who lives around here. We deal with steel and industrial work, which is heavy and loud most of the time. The roads around here can be a bit rough for the big trucks, especially during the rains when the mud gets deep, but we get the loads in and out eventually. It is a lot of physical labor and keeping an eye on the machinery to make sure nothing breaks down. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us, some heavy equipment, and a whole lot of metal. The heat in this part of Gujarat can be something else, so we try to get the hardest work done as early as possible in the day. We have been here for a good while, and most of the people working here are locals from the nearby villages. We do not really have a polished way of talking about our business. We just show up for our shifts and make sure the steel is handled right. It is a straightforward life.
