Prabhu Enterprise

Prabhu Enterprise is situated on Maa Laxmi Street, which is a fairly narrow and busy little road. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, and we’ve been part of that for quite a few years now. Our storefront is pretty simple, with just enough space to show what we have and a bit of storage in the back for the rest of the stock. We deal in general supplies, whatever people in the neighborhood or local trade seem to be asking for at the moment. It’s a small operation, mostly run by a few of us who have been doing this for a long time. You won't find any polished marketing brochures or sales pitches here. We just open the doors in the morning, sweep the front step, and wait for the delivery trucks to arrive with the new stock. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit difficult because the street doesn't drain very well, but we just put up some boards and keep going. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for years. We spend a lot of time just chatting with them while we sort out their orders. It’s a lot of manual counting and keeping track of things in a ledger. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it’s how we’ve always done things here on Maa Laxmi Street. It's just a normal shop trying to do things right.
