You can find us on Jayshree Talkies Road, right near the Kalva Chowk area in Junagadh. It’s a very lively part of town, always smelling like street food and diesel from the buses. Our office is a simple place where people come to check on bus timings or drop off parcels. We have a few wooden benches where passengers sit while they wait for their departures. The walls have been painted the same shade of off-white for as long as I can remember. It gets quite dusty because of all the vehicles passing by on the main road, so we are always wiping down the counters. We don’t have a big marketing team; most people just know us because we’ve been at this address for so long. The phone rings a lot, usually someone asking if the bus is on time or where the stop is. We just tell them how it is based on what we see on the board. In the evenings, when Kalva Chowk gets really crowded, the office feels like a little island of calm, even with the horns honking outside. It’s honest work, and we see all sorts of people coming through these doors, from farmers to students heading back home. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the schedule so nobody misses their ride. It is not glamorous, but it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
