Mahapooja Trading Company

St Patel Market is where you will find us at number 158. It’s a standard market stall setup. We try to get here before the sun gets too high because the heat in the market can be a bit much by noon. Mahapooja Trading Company has been in this spot for some time. There are always trucks being unloaded nearby and people carrying heavy bags on their shoulders through the lanes. We have a small table where we keep the ledger and some pens for the day's work. The floor is concrete and we sweep it every morning before we start. Most of our day is spent talking to people or checking the stock that comes in from the suppliers. There is a tea stall just a few shops down that we use a lot throughout the day. The walls at 158 are painted a light color but they have some marks and scuffs from moving stuff around over the years. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It's just a place of business in a busy market area. Sometimes the electricity goes for a bit and we just sit and wait for it to come back on. St Patel Market is always moving, even when it feels like nothing much is happening. We keep the doors open so the air moves through the shop as much as possible. It's a simple life at the trading company. We just do the work and go home.
