Kapsun Multiplast

Our place is located at Plot No. 146A, right on the Jetpur-Junagadh Highway. It is a very loud spot because of all the trucks and lorries that zoom past at all hours of the day and night. You eventually stop hearing the engines after you have worked here for a few months. We deal with various multiplast items. The yard is quite large, but it gets very dusty because of the vehicles kicking up dirt from the road. We try to sweep it every morning, but it is a losing battle most of the time. We start our day early, usually before the sun gets too high in the sky, to beat the worst of the heat. It is a lot of physical work, loading and unloading the stock. Sometimes the truck drivers stay for a bit of tea and a chat about the road conditions. We have a small office area with a wooden desk that has been here since we opened. There are no fancy computers or high-tech gadgets, just a basic phone and our ledgers. If it rains, the area around the plot gets a bit muddy, so we have to be careful with the shipments. My brother often comes by to help out when we have a big delivery arriving. It is a straightforward business and we don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. We just work hard and go home at the end of the day.
