Being near the rickshaws means there is always noise and people moving about, which keeps things interesting for us. We work with chemicals and organic compounds here. It’s technical work, but we talk about it in plain terms among ourselves. Most of us live nearby, so the commute is just a quick walk or a short ride. The building itself has seen better days, maybe needs a fresh coat of paint, but it holds up well enough for what we do. We have our lab equipment and storage areas set up just how we like them. Sometimes the smell of the chemicals is a bit strong, but that's part of the job and you stop noticing it after an hour. People in the neighborhood know us as the guys who work near the stand. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just focus on the batches we are making today. If a customer has a question, they usually just call the landline or walk in through the front door. It’s a simple way of doing things that hasn't changed much over the years. We’ve been part of the Kodinar community for a while now and we just try to do our work correctly and keep moving.
