Greenvilla Nursery

Greenvilla Nursery is located on Vanthali Road, just near the Vadla Fatak in Junagadh. Working here means we are outdoors most of the time, which is nice until the heat really picks up in the afternoon. We spend our days watering the plants, moving heavy pots around, and trying to keep the weeds under control. It is a lot of physical work, and our clothes are usually covered in dirt by the end of the shift. We have a wide variety of things growing, and we have to keep a close eye on the weather because a dry spell can cause a lot of trouble. The gate near the railway crossing can be a bit noisy when the trains go by, but you eventually stop noticing it. People from the nearby areas stop in to see what is in season, and we just give them a hand with whatever they are looking for. We do not have a computer system or anything like that; we just write things down in a notebook. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. The nursery is a bit sprawling, so we do a lot of walking back and forth every day. We are not trying to be a massive commercial garden, just a local spot where things grow and we keep busy with the soil.
