Somplast Leather Industries Ltd. is located in Junagadh, right across from the Marketing Yard in Dolatpura. Being near the yard means there is always a lot of activity and people moving around outside our gates. We work with leather materials every day, so the smell is something you just get used to after a week or two on the job. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here for some, but for us, it’s just where the work happens. The building is solid, though it could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever found the time. We have a crew that has been with us through plenty of seasons. Some days are slower than others when the supply isn’t coming in fast, but we keep ourselves busy with whatever is on the floor. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It's mostly just the production area and a small space to sit down and talk with anyone who stops by. You can see the city of Junagadh changing around us, but we just keep doing what we know. We try to keep things organized, though boxes tend to stack up when a big order is ready to go out.
