Able Collection

It gets pretty loud here in the mornings when the trains start rolling in. We are located right near the railway station on Street No. 3, so there is always a crowd of people rushing past our door. Most of the time, the shop is full of boxes that we haven't had a chance to put away yet. Able Collection isn't a big fancy place, just a small spot where we keep things moving. My cousin helps me out most days, and we spend a lot of time drinking tea and waiting for the next delivery truck to find the turn-off. Sometimes the street gets blocked by a cart or someone parking where they shouldn't, but that is just how it is around here. We have been in this spot for a while now. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it is on high, but it keeps the air moving during the afternoon heat. It’s mostly just us doing what we need to do to keep the shelves stocked and the customers from getting frustrated with the wait. You can hear the whistle of the engines from the platform all day long. It helps us keep time better than the old clock on the wall, which is usually five minutes slow anyway. We just keep the door open and hope for a bit of a breeze from the alleyway.
