L R Hetcheries

Being out here in Village Shadipur is quite a change from the noise of the bigger cities. We are located near Julana Post in District Jind, and most days it's just the sounds of the farm and the occasional tractor rattling down the road. L R Hetcheries isn't one of those big modern buildings; it’s a working place where we keep the operations running every single day. The air has that fresh country smell, though that changes depending on which way the wind is blowing. We spend a lot of our time checking the temperatures in the sheds and making sure the birds are doing okay. It’s a lot of manual labor, and our shoes are usually covered in dust or mud by the middle of the morning. The Jind area gets incredibly dry and hot during the summer months, so keeping the water supply steady is always on our minds. Most of the people working here are from around the village, so we all know each other pretty well. We have a tiny office where we keep the logs, but you’ll mostly find us out where the work is happening. It’s a simple kind of life, really. We don’t have fancy machines for coffee or nice cushioned chairs. Just some basic plastic seats and a ceiling fan that’s seen better days. We get the eggs moved and the stock sorted, and that’s the main thing. When it rains, the roads get a bit messy, but we still manage to get things done.
