Seema Hardware

The shop is right here on Marwari Para Road, and most folks find us because we are so close to Bata Chowk in the middle of Chowk Bazar. It gets pretty loud outside during the day with all the traffic and people walking by. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, just keeping the shelves stocked with whatever hardware people usually need for their homes. My father started things out, and now we just keep it going day by day. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop with a lot of drawers and boxes piled up. Sometimes it takes a minute to find the right size screw or a specific hinge, but we usually have it somewhere in the back. The dust from the road comes in all the time, so we spend a lot of our morning just wiping things down before the first customers show up. We see a lot of the same faces every week, guys working on local houses or neighbors fixing a leaky tap. Usually, we open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There isn't much to say other than we are here if you need something for a repair. We don't have a big office or anything, just the counter and the stool where I sit when things aren't too busy. It’s just Seema Hardware, a local place in a busy part of town.
